Three Mile Point kayaking on National Nude Day July14th2013

Today we enjoyed a paddle around Three Mile Beach (Penticton's Clothing Optional Beach),

Above shot os of Three Mile Point where someone had recently hung a hammock.

The Naturist area is straight ahead to the North (left in the photo) of the large willow tree. Don't have any close up shots of the naturists in these photos out of respect for their privacy. Many people think all of Three Mile Beach is a "Nude Beach" when you mention the name in town, but it is only the North/East corner of the point. Some women go topless on the regular portion of this beach as it is an out of the way beach.

To find Three Mile Beach, get on Naramata Road from Penticton then drive about 3 miles till you see a street sign that says Three Mile Road. Follow the road to the lake.

Found a spot just North of Three Mile Point to relax and get some sunshine. This spot at one time was a popular section, now is quite secluded as the trail has washed out over the bluff. Few if any Naturists use this section as the only way to it now is by boat.

Later in the afternoon enjoyed a paddle on Skaha Lake with my brother, visiting from the coast.
